SMS Messaging Terms & Compliance

Program Description
Our SMS messaging program sends quote follow-ups, appointment confirmations, reminders, rescheduling updates and customer support messages. These go to customers who have:

• Requested a quote or booked an appointment through https://vinyltekcustoms.co.uk and
• Explicitly opted in to receive SMS notifications

We collect opt-in through web forms with a dedicated, unticked SMS consent checkbox.

Types of Messages You May Receive

• Quote responses and follow-ups
• Appointment confirmations
• Appointment reminders
• Rescheduling updates
• Aftercare and customer support messages

Marketing messages (offers and discounts) are only sent if you separately tick the marketing opt-in box.

Cancellation Instructions

• You can cancel SMS notifications at any time by replying “STOP” to the number that sent you messages
• You will receive a confirmation message
• After that, you will no longer receive SMS messages
• To rejoin, sign up the same way you did originally, and we will start sending messages again

Carrier Liability
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

• Message frequency varies based on your enquiry and appointment activity
• Contact your mobile provider with any questions about your plan

Supported Networks
Our SMS program works with all major UK networks, including EE, O2, Vodafone, Three and most other UK mobile networks.

Age Restriction
You must be 18 or older to take part in our SMS program.

General Terms

This website (the “Site”) is owned and operated by Vinyl Tek Customs (“we”, “us” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to be bound by:

Accessing the Site in any way, automated or otherwise, constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

Quotes, Bookings & Services

• Quotes are free and based on the information you provide. If the vehicle or work differs from what was described, the final price may change. We will always agree any change with you before starting work.
• Window tint is fitted in line with UK road-legal limits for front side windows and windscreens unless otherwise agreed in writing. Where a customer requests film darker than the legal limit, the customer is responsible for road legality, MOT and insurance implications.
• Aftercare instructions (for example, not winding windows down during the curing period) must be followed for warranty cover to apply.

Warranties

Our written warranty terms vary by service:

• Window tinting (vehicle & property): lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling and colour fade
• Print & vinyl wrapping (incl. van wrapping): one year from the fitting date
• Paint protection film: 5 years against yellowing and film failure

Warranties cover defects in materials and fitting. They do not cover damage from accidents, misuse, scratches, improper cleaning or aftercare not being followed. To make a claim, contact us with your fitting date and photos of the issue.

These warranties are in addition to your statutory rights. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Intellectual Property Rights

Our Limited Licence to You
All materials on the Site, including text, photos and logos, belong to Vinyl Tek Customs and/or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, translate, sell or distribute any material
• Create derivative works from Site content

You may download or print one copy of individual pages for personal, non-commercial use, provided all copyright notices remain intact.

Your Licence to Us
By submitting any material (comments, photos, videos, reviews, etc.) through the Site or our social media channels, you confirm that you own the material or have permission to use it.

You grant us a royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, modify, publish and display that material in connection with our business.
